ARRIVING BY CAR

From Western Austria: Drive on the A10 through the Tauern and Katschberg tunnels (toll stations) to the Feistritz / Drau motorway exit. Follow the signposted route over the Windische Höhe to Hermagor.

from Eastern Austria:

On the A2 (southern motorway towards Italy) you leave the motorway at the Hermagor / Gailtal exit. From there, the B111 federal road leads to Nassfeld.

from Germany:

Coming from Munich, you either have the option of arriving via the A10 (see Arrival from Western Austria) or via the A12 (Inntalautobahn) to the Kufstein exit. From there on through the Felbertauern tunnel (toll station) to Lienz, over the Gailbergsattel to Kötschach-Mauthen and on towards Hermagor.

… FROM ITALY

 

from southern Italy:

Take the motorway to Udine in the direction of Austria. Then you have two options: Either you leave the motorway at Pontebba and drive through the village of Pontebba over the pass road directly to Nassfeld (Passo Pramollo). Or you can continue to Tarvisio and take the Hermagor / Gailtal exit.

ARRIVAL BY TRAIN

 

The junction is the Villach main station from all directions, from where the ÖBB S-Bahn line S4 brings you to Hermagor every hour. From there, the regional bus goes to the surrounding towns and to the Nassfeld skiing and hiking area. During the cold season, the ski bus also runs directly between the train station and the Nassfeld ski area (Tröpolach Millennium Express terminus).

The Carinthia train station shuttle brings all guests who arrive by train and bus and arrive at the Hermagor, Greifenburg or Oberdrauburg train stations to their accommodation and to selected excursion destinations in the region at an affordable rate. ARRIVAL BY PLANE

Four airports offer air travelers the ideal connection to the Nassfeld-Pressegger See region: Klagenfurt, Laibach / Ljubljana, Trieste, Venice. You can reach Nassfeld from all four airports within a few hours.
